Product vision
Galvyris is a persistent multiplayer galaxy strategy game in which all players share the same evolving galaxy. There is no single permanent "you win" state — progress is measured through empire power, economy, military, research, territory, exploration, trade, alliance strength, and historical impact.
Whether you build a multi-world industrial empire, trade through blockades, survey worlds for decades, or pivot toward mobile fleet operations, the same persistent galaxy reacts to your choices. Optional Galactic Eras (~21 days) add rotating competitive goals — discovery, war, expansion, industry — without wiping the universe.
The core loop runs from homeworld infrastructure through research, scouting, asteroid mining, raids, colonization, specialization, alliances, and eventually megastructures and galactic wonders. Day-one commanders receive a starter world from a shared pool, a shipyard, scout, fighter, and mining drone, plus beginner protection for the first 48 hours.
Core fantasy
Build and govern a real interstellar empire — not just upgrade a static base. Every commander affects the same living map. Wars shift borders, stations are destroyed, and discoveries permanently reshape sectors for everyone.
Strategic pillars
Exploration, economy, logistics, expansion, warfare, diplomacy, and information — each pillar has real mechanical depth. The largest fleet is not automatically the strongest empire; timing, intel, and trade matter equally.
Many paths to power
Valid playstyles include explorer, industrialist, trader, miner, raider, admiral, diplomat, imperialist, logistician, and scientist. Each path uses different buildings, fleets, and alliance orientations.
Galactic eras
~21-day galaxy-wide seasons with rotating goals. Personal progress worth at least 10% of the galaxy target earns rare-resource rewards. Eras provide competitive targets without resetting the persistent universe.
Progress without a reset
Rankings track empire, military, economy, research, exploration, trade, territory, and alliance power. Galaxy News records legendary ship losses, wonder completions, and council resolutions — your impact outlasts any single battle.
Tutorial & onboarding
Starter medals grant resource bundles for early milestones. A tutorial NPC warning fires 6–12 hours after signup during beginner protection, nudging new commanders toward their first colony — typically day 2–4.
